Welcome to the beautiful Country of Jordan! You will be greeted by one of our Mission Travel Tours Representatives upon your arrival at Amman Airport. After the immigration clearance, you will proceed to the hotel in Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amman is the capital of Jordan, a modern city with numerous ancient ruins. Atop Jabal al-Qala’a hill, the historic Citadel includes the pillars of the Roman Temple of Hercules and the 8th-century Umayyad Palace complex, known for its grand dome.

Built into a different downtown hillside, the Roman Theater is a 6,000-capacity, 2nd-century stone amphitheater offering occasional events.

Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan's southwestern desert. It contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the "Rose City."

Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury.

On your way to Petra, you will visit Mount Nebo & Madaba Church. Mount Nebo is an elevated ridge of the Abarim in Jordan, approximately 710 meters above sea level. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land.

Proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight stay.

Today's Focus

Relish your breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will drive to Allenby Bridge to cross Israel (approx. 4.5hrs drive). An Israeli tour guide will meet you at the border of Israel. You will then proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood and lived with Joseph and Mary.

Nazareth is a city with biblical history. In the old city, the domed Basilica of the Annunciation is some belief, where the angel Gabriel told Mary she would bear a child. St. Joseph’s Church is said to be the site of Joseph’s carpentry workshop.

The underground Synagogue Church is reputedly where Jesus studied and prayed. Nazareth Village, an open-air museum, reconstructs daily life in Jesus’ era.

Now you will tour around the Church of the Annunciation or sometimes also referred to as the Basilica of the Annunciation, which is a Catholic Church in Nazareth. It was established over the site where the Catholic tradition holds to be the house of Virgin Mary, and where angel Gabriel appeared to her and announced that she would conceive and bear the Son of God, Jesus – an event known as the Annunciation.

Visit St. Joseph's Church, a Franciscan Roman Catholic church in the Old City of Nazareth. It was built in 1914 over the remains of much older churches. It is located close to the Church of the Annunciation. It was built in the Romanesque Revival style

Next to St. Joseph’s Church is the Mary’s Well, which is reputed to be located at the site where, according to the Catholic tradition, Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, mother of Jesus, and announced that she would bear the Son of God – an event known as the Annunciation.
If you still have plenty of time, you may visit Cana.

Cana of Galilee is the location of the Marriage at Cana, at which the miracle of turning water into wine took place in the Gospel of John.

Drive to Tiberius for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Today's Focus

After having your delicious breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-8). You will spend 2 hours of your time at the Mount reflecting.

Then on to Capernaum where Jesus used to live and heal the sick, preaching in the synagogue and performing miracles (Matthew 9:1, 4:13). Capernaum was a fishing village established during the time of the Hasmoneans, located on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Archaeological excavations have revealed two ancient synagogues built one over the other. A house turned into a church by the Byzantines is believed to have been the home of Saint Peter.

Head to Tabgha, visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, Church of St. Peter’s Primacy.

Tabgha is an area situated on the north-western shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. It is traditionally accepted as the place of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes and the fourth resurrection appearance of Jesus after his Crucifixion.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized in the river by John the Baptist. (if anyone needs Baptismal rites performed can be arranged if a Pastor/Priest present in the group; otherwise do so privately themselves).

You will head back to the hotel for a sumptuous dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Tiberius / Jerusalem

Good day! Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will be visiting Cana of Galilee, the location of the Marriage at Cana, at which the miracle of turning water into wine took place in the Gospel of John.

You will then proceed to Mt. Tabor to visit the Basilica of the Transfiguration. The Church of the Transfiguration is a Franciscan church located on Mount Tabor in Israel. It is traditionally believed to be the site where the Transfiguration of Jesus took place, an event in the Gospels in which Jesus is transfigured upon an unnamed mountain and speaks with Moses and Elijah.

Drive to Haifa and enjoy a short tour. Haifa is a northern Israeli port city built in tiers extending from the Mediterranean up the north slope of Mount Carmel.

Mount Carmel, also known in Arabic as Mount Mar Elias, is a coastal mountain range in northern Israel stretching from the Mediterranean Sea towards the southeast. The range is a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

You will then proceed to the Stella Maris Monastery or the Monastery of Our Lady of Mount Carmel for monks is a 19th-century Discalced Carmelite monastery located on the slopes of Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel. Another Carmelite monastery of the same name is reserved for nuns and is located higher up on Mount Carmel.

Caesarea is a town in north-central Israel, which inherits its name and much of its territory from the ancient city of Caesarea Maritima.

If you still have plenty of time, you may have a short tour to Tel Aviv, the most populous city in the Gush Dan metropolitan area of Israel. Located on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline.

Drive to Jerusalem for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Jerusalem

Have your delightful breakfast at the hotel. At 7:30 AM, you will be visiting Mt. of Olives to see the panoramic view of Jerusalem from atop the Mountain.

You will then proceed to visit the Church of the Ascension, a shrine located on the Mount of Olives. Part of a larger complex consisting first of a Christian church and monastery, then an Islamic mosque, it is located on a site the faithful traditionally believed to be the earthly spot where Jesus ascended into Heaven after His Resurrection. It houses a slab of stone believed to contain one of His footprints.

Pater Noster, or the Lord's Prayer, is a prayer in Christianity.Church of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem shortly before the destruction of the second temple.

Next, you will explore the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus was captured by the Romans after he was betrayed by Judas.

You will also see the Church of the Sepulchre of Saint Mary, also Tomb of the Virgin Mary, which is a Christian tomb in the Kidron Valley – at the foot of Mount of Olives, believed by Eastern Christians to be the burial place of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Proceed to Mount Zion, a hill in Jerusalem. The term Mount Zion has been used in the Hebrew Bible first for the City of David and later for the Temple Mount, but its meaning has shifted and it is now used as the name of ancient Jerusalem's Western Hill.

Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu is a Roman Catholic church located on the eastern slope of Mount Zion, just outside the Old (walled) City of Jerusalem.

Now you will view the Cenacle, also known as the "Upper Room" as the first Christian church according to Catholics. Other denominations believe the first church is the Church of Saint Peter. It is a room in the David's Tomb Compound in Jerusalem and was traditionally held to be the site of the Last Supper.

The Abbey of the Dormition is an abbey and the name of a Benedictine community in Jerusalem on Mount Zion just outside the walls of the Old City near the Zion Gate.

You will proceed to Ein Karem, a charming hillside village famed for its centuries-old holy sites to visit the Church of Visitation (Luke 1:39-56). It is a Catholic church that honors the visit paid by the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist.

You will return to your hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 8: Jerusalem

Relish your delicious breakfast at the hotel. Your journey for today begins at the Old City of Jerusalem from Lion’s Gate.

The Church of Saint Anne, the Pool of Bethesda, is a French Roman Catholic church and French national domain located before the start of the Via Dolorosa, between the Lions' Gate and of the Second Station of the Cross, in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Through the stations of the cross, you will visit the Golgotha or Calvary, which was, according to the canonical Gospels, a site immediately outside Jerusalem's walls where Jesus was crucified.

The canonical Gospels use the Koine term Kraníon when testifying to the place outside Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified.

Proceed your walk to the Holy Sepulchre Church and visit the Empty Tomb of Jesus.
In the Jewish Quarter, you will visit the Wailing Wall and have a panoramic view of the Mosque of Omar.

Then head to Bethany (approx. 1hr travel from Jerusalem starts after lunch by 2:00 pm) to visit Lazarus Tomb.

Proceed to Jericho and visit the Sycamore Tree where Zacchaeus, the tax collector climbed the tree to view Jesus. Visit Mt. of Temptation where Jesus was tempted by the devil. You may now proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, to enjoy a swim.

Tour around Qumran Caves, a series of caves, some natural, some artificial, found around the archaeological site of Qumran in the Judaean Desert of the West Bank. It is in these caves that the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

Go back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Manger Square is a city square in the center of Bethlehem. It takes its name from the manger where Jesus is said to have been born which, according to Christian tradition, took place at the Grotto of the Nativity, enshrined since the fourth century in the Church of the Nativity.

You will then proceed to Tabha border to cross over to Egypt driving towards the Sinai mountains, passing by the red sea (approx. 4.5hrs drive). You will also visit The Foothills of mount Sinai St Catherine Monastery, Moses chapel.

End your day with a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay.

Hello Egypt! Have a wonderful breakfast at the hotel for today, you will be visiting Pyramids & Sphinx.

The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature that comprises a lion’s body with a pharaoh’s head.

Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the pharaoh, Khafre.

The Egyptian pyramids are ancient pyramid-shaped masonry structures. Most were built as tombs for the country's pharaohs and their consorts during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods. You will use the under a tunnel of the Suez Canal by road, reaching there by afternoon.

You will proceed to Cairo. Egypt’s sprawling capital is set on the Nile River. At its heart is Tahrir Square and the vast Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities including royal mummies and gilded King Tutankhamun artifacts.

End your fun day with dinner and an overnight stay.
